Overview
MkImage provides access to state-of-the-art AI image generation models from leading providers including Google and OpenAI. Each model offers different strengths in terms of quality, speed, and cost.
Available Models
Nano Banana 2
- Provider: Google (Gemini 3.1 Flash Image Preview)
- Strengths: Fast generation with reasoning-guided output, good balance of speed and quality
- Resolutions: 1K, 2K, 4K
- Aspect Ratios: 1:1, 2:3, 3:2, 3:4, 4:3, 9:16, 16:9
- Quality: Not configurable (single quality level)
- Speed: ~38 seconds
- Cost: 5 credits per image
Nano Banana Pro
- Provider: Google (Gemini 3 Pro Image Preview)
- Strengths: Highest quality Google model, excellent for detailed and artistic images
- Resolutions: 1K, 2K, 4K
- Aspect Ratios: 1:1, 2:3, 3:2, 3:4, 4:3, 9:16, 16:9
- Quality: Not configurable (single quality level)
- Speed: ~46 seconds
- Cost: 10 credits per image
GPT Image 2
- Provider: OpenAI (GPT-Image-2)
- Strengths: Most capable OpenAI model, supports quality tiers (Standard/Medium/High) with excellent text rendering
- Resolutions: 1K, 2K, 4K
- Aspect Ratios: 1:1, 2:3, 3:2, 3:4, 4:3, 9:16, 16:9
- Quality: Standard, Medium, High (only model that supports quality selection)
- Speed: ~45 seconds
- Cost: 2-80 credits per image (varies by resolution and quality)

- Balanced quality: Use Nano Banana 2 (5 credits) or GPT Image 2 at 2K Standard (5 credits) for great results at moderate cost.
- High quality: Use Nano Banana Pro (10 credits) or GPT Image 2 at Medium/High quality for detailed work.
- Text in images: GPT Image 2 excels at rendering text accurately within images.
- Ultra high quality: Use GPT Image 2 at 4K High for maximum detail (80 credits per image).
